And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. Romans 8:28.
For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isa 55:8
I too know the feeling of a loved one. I lost someone very near and dear to me who was around one minute and then died the next. These are some of the verses that gave me comfort.
However it took more than verse to give me comfort. It also took my friends and family. There are many things that God will use to bring you comfort in dealing with this. If you want you can feel free to email me or to add me to Yahoo Messenger and I will gladly be willing listen to anything that you may want to talk about...(If you don't mind talking to a stranger lol)

The Bible is full of words to encourage you and lift you up. A few I can think of off the top of my head:
-Isaiah 26:3
-Philippians 4:13
-Isaiah 41:10
-Romans 8:28
-Psalm 27:1
-Psalm 55:22
-Psalm 105:4
-Nehemiah 8:10
-Jonah 2:2
-Hebrews 13:5
-John 14:27
-Psalm 23
I know it is so hard for you to feel like things are ever going to be normal again, and I won't tell you that they will. A piece of you has changed forever. But there is hope, and there is comfort in God's Word, and I will be praying for you as you seek it.
If you need to talk or need other Scripture references, feel free to email me!
In Christ,

I am sorry for your lose, I too losted my father to cancer in October 2004 and it seems like yesterday I also lost my sister December 2006 to the aids virus and my grandparents and two children in a fire. I can't understand what you are going through because I still have my mother but I feel your pain of your lost. It will get better in time but how you heal is up to you, cause you control you. You will make it. Everytime you feel down and out just say Thank you Jesus, for as long as it takes at that moment for you to think about something or someone else. Be strong the Lord will see you through.

Life is so fragile. We are not promised tomorrow or even the rest of today. Sometimes the best healing is for GOD to take us home. The pain is gone for those who sleep, but we now have the pain of that loss. GOD can and will heal you and comfort you. When we are at our weakest, GOD is at his strongest in our lives,
"The Lord is near to those who are broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
Jam 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Jam 4:14 Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Well, if your mother was a christian, then practically the entire new testament is encouraging. I lost my father a year ago, myself. Luckily I was in Iraq at the time, so I didn't have to see him as bad as he was at the time, but I know how you feel. I miss him a lot sometimes, but I know the pain will fade with time.

The Bible says in Hebrews 13:5 - "I will never leave you nor forsake you." God has promised us that He will always be with us no matter what else happens, or who may go on before us. It also says in other Scripture that those that have died in Christ (a Christian) will go to Heaven, and then when God returns to take us to Heaven, we will see our loved ones again.

What you ought to renowned is that it is referred to as a blessing in hide. This woman wasn't meant to be with you and that's extra perfect which you found out now instead of once you have married. i understand that that's difficult to look at it that way now because of the fact your concepts remains caught up on your hopes and desires that have been dashed. yet whilst God had ordained for you 2 to spend something of your lives at the same time then this would not have got here approximately. as nicely all that, think of roughly it. This woman lied and cheated. that's extra perfect to make certain now than to make certain you married a woman who grow to be a mendacity cheater, right? Amos 3:3 Can 2 stroll at the same time, until eventually they're agreed? once you get slightly time between you and this heartbreak you will in all probability understand which you ought to desire for the guy that she is with now because of the fact somebody with a song checklist of mendacity and cheating isn't possibly to alter until eventually God modifications them from interior. Jeremiah 13:23 Can the Ethiopian exchange his pores and skin or the leopard its spots? Then might you apart from mght do sturdy who're acquainted with do evil.

John 14:1: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2: In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4: And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Your mom is not in your past; she's in your future. If God prepared a place for you then you know he has one prepared for her also.
