Just an old saying to comfort people who have lost someone they love at a young age.

I can't explain that because it doesn't make any sense. I've known quite a few people who died young, and throughout their short lives, it really didn't seem like the "gods" or anything else favored them...

If you want examples just consider Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, James Dean, Jeff Buckley, Eliot Smith, Layne Staley...the list is endless. I guess God needs some good music in heaven.

My rendition of the quote is not exact, but I do know that the actual quote justifies youthful death as a protection from corruption, and refers to longer life as an opportunity for repentence or redemption.

The good persons experience death first than the others.Unfortunately it's true.Because good persons are kind to everyone and hence believe in everyone.They are easily fooled by conspiraters.
