To get a flat, toned and female kinda muscular stomach before summer?

I'm only 125-130 lbs. and 5'1 1/2'' So. I'm not fat or noticeably overweight, but I would like to have a fit stomach by summertime

Yes. Combine a sound nutrition plan of 6 small well balanced meals per day with a proper workout program.

Each meal should have a high fiber source of carbohydrates and a lean protein source. Your source of fats should be small and should be concentrated in essential fatty acids. Avoid greasy foods.

Your workout program should include weight training to increase your lean mass and resting metabolic rate to burn extra calories 24 hours per day. Cardio is also essential. This is to remove fat from your whole body because we cannot spot reduce.

I can help a lot with this - I have an 8 pack (If there even is such a thing, but I have it). I recommend pull-ups, as many as you can do with taking three minute breaks in between sets. Also try leg lifters, 5 at one minute each. And of course, try sit ups and crunches. I do as many as I possibly can in one minute. I have gotten 75 before, but try it daily and you will get better and stronger. This probably won't help, but the reason my abs got to the way they are is mainly because I play the saxophone, and other saxophonists have had similar results. An instrument really develops the abs because of the breathing strength required. Good luck!

definitely!!!! i had the same situation before spring break cuz i wanted to look good in a bikini. i only changed my diet slightly, you know, just added a little more fruit and veggies and a little less chips and cake, while still letting myself enjoy the good stuff every now and then. i did 300-400 sit ups a day in 100 sit up intervals. i would do 100 in the morning, 100 before lunch, and work the other hundred in later in the day. Also dancing is a great work-out. it even helps to do about 100 sit ups like right when you are in your bikini about to go down to the pool or the beach or something. i got great results for such little effort!!! hope it works for you!!!

You have to lose the layer of fat and tone the muscles.
If you just tone the muscles you will have a sexy tummy, under a blanket of fat. Cardio will burn fat and weights or exercises will give you tone as well as a reduction of calories to keep new fat cells from forming.

where r u starting from? by Sumner you[anyone] can lost 20 lbs and get in good shape..being under 40 years old helps 15 to 30 no problem

go to balley total fitness and get a personal trainer. you will get one before the end of spring.

same with me-- TAKE DANCE! I take BALLET-- and i have a six pack! I know, cool huh? Take dance if you like it cause then it is worth it! (and fun)
I believe you can do it by summer if you work hard!
