Are phychics and mediums just fakes?

Are there any true clairvoyants out there who can convince me that there is something beyond this. Convince me you are not a fake!

I am sure a lot of psychics and mediums really do want to help people, and their powers can certainly be from beyond themselves. However, I wonder just where their power comes from.....

Sad to say, people like this have stepped into the breach because so many Christians are just not moving in the very real power of the Holy Spirit, and reaching out to those who want real answers out there. Have a look at this website, and e-mail for a personal answer if you would like.

I believe that there are far more fakers, who would exploit you for your money, than there are genuine mediums. Unfortunately, that's the sort of world we live today. However, I do believe in mediumship, and spiritualism.
If you really want to find out for yourself, look up your local Spiritualist Church, and go along one evening. They are very different from conventional churches, in a pleasant way. Some of the service is with hymns and prayer, but they will have one or two mediums who give messages. Obviously not everyone will get a message, but many do, and perhaps you will. And they only ask for a donation towards the upkeep of the church, which is voluntary.

Let me put it this way - no psychic or medium has ever done anything that a competent magician hasn't been able to reproduce using magic skills that anyone can learn. So while there is no proof that self-proclaimed 'psychics' and 'mediums' are fakes, it is perfectly possible for non-psychics to get the same results.

I've actually met people who've convinced me they have some sort of gift. I once had a girlfriend who lives in another state call me and tell me how sorry she was that my aunt had died. I asked her how she knew because I hadn't talked to her in months, it had just happened, and we had no mutual friends. She said she had a dream the night before that I had called her and told her my aunt died. Freaky, eh?

I had another girlfriend who was doing a tarot reading for another friend and the friend reading the tarot looked at her and said, "Your grandmother has been delayed because she's been dealing with a sick friend. She'll be out once her friend passes away and she has put all the affairs in order." The friend who was getting the reading blew it off as BS. The next week we all got together again and she told us (she was really freaked out) that the reading had been dead on. They finally got ahold of her grandmother and her grandmother explained that her friend just died (she had been caring for her) and would be out as soon as she got her friend's affairs in order.

So I mean unless you experience it first hand - you'll never believe it.

No, there aren't any real psychics or mediums. If there were, they could convince the skeptics they are telling the truth, win a million dollars, and open up a new field of science in an hour - but they won't. Why not? Because they're lying.

I'd say that for the most part, psychics and mediums are faking it, though I'm sure that there are those who do come into contact with demons...what a demon would know that your own common sense couldn't tell you is beyond me....I'd just say that they're a waste of time and money though.

as a spiritualist myself i feel that most mediums are fakes BUT i know of some who have got a understanding of spirit and when on the platform at a spiritualist service can be the channel for spirit to talk to loved ones who are there, If you relay want to understand spirit and the power they have go to a local spiritualist church and see for your self not to thous who make a living out of exploiting the grieving.
