how do ideal with this guy?
He actually gave my mum his number for me(she knows him through his work)so i text as i always thought he was kinda cute although i was in a relationship.
Anyway he text me back and called me and told me he was interested and if i wasn`t then to tell him,that was on friday and to be honest i couldn`t bring myself to say it although i am and he then asked if he could call me and i didn`t reply.I think i may be laqcking in confidence since i came out a long term relationship that lasted 6 years and he was my 1st love.
My mum saw him on saturday in his work and told him we should both grow up and he said he`d call me and sent a text asking if this was ok and i said yes but he didn`t call,i then sent a text saying if he wasn`t interested then it`s fine,just like he had sent me the day before!).That was on sayurday and i haven`t heard from him since and will see him in his work if not this week then defo next,help!!

He did ask me out but he`s quite shy and didn`t say when and asked if he could come upto mine last wednesday but said his phone was broke so couldn`t contact me.He then said he was interested but i dont know if i`ve been giving him the right signals as because as i said before my confidence is at low.

hey there! i think that you should give this guy space, by not giving him a straight aanswer in the begining youve confused him by changing your mind andsending mixed signals!
gave him space to breath... see if he txts you it may take a few days or maybe untill the next time you see him! but you dont want to seam clingy etc etc...i understand and sympathise that you were in a long realtionship and its hit your confidence but remeber you are what you are, dont let others judge you or youll only became what they think you are!

I really think you need to talk to him! This could be a great lost opportunity and you having to live with a "what if?" hanging over your head for the next couple of weeks.
