I don't know all states laws but I'm sure it's a felony. This will ruin your chance to carry a gun for hunting. A felon cannot carry a gun or own one in my state. Here is a web site I've been doing some research on concealed carry. Very informative and covers all the differant states.

As a former Michigan resident i believe its a felony...

Totally a felony. You'll do a minimum of ten years for that one.

It is a felony and they will take you to jail without your weapon ever being returned to you.
