I believe in the Rapture with all of my heart. There will come a time when many will simply vanish and all those that are left behind are going to wonder. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is preparing a place for us in Heaven, and thus He will come again. These things that are going to happen afterward are recorded in the book of Revelation. It's an incredible book of the Bible, and one that does seem 'far out', but must be taken on faith. I know that my God is not a liar.

Neither in the sense you portray the rapture...that there will be a secret rapture is false...everyone on earth will know it...it's called the great and Terrible Day of the Lord in scripture or Judgement day..as it is commonly referred to.
To believe in a secret rapture..thus permitting an aftermath..is a theory that was created by a Jesuit, catholic priest named (1+2) Francisco Ribera, in the Catholic Counter-reformation (post protestant reformation) . This (false) interpretation of prophecy is called a Futurist interpretation. There are three main interpretations Preterist, Historicist and Futurist....the Historicist interpretation is the only one that applies reason and history since the time of Christ until this day...it also is the only one that doesn't conflict with scripture...both Old and New Testaments.
As far as aliens go...do I really need to address that? I've seen the direct evidence of the exact evils and abominations that Christ, the prophets and the apostles foretold...of aliens I've seen no evidence.

Sleep Paralysis is what's regularly happening as an "effortless answer". that's a catchall term used to describe away dissimilar paranormal phenomena, from host and nocturnal visitations to alien abductions. truthfully, that's in effortless terms guesswork. the persons who say that it is the reason of alien abductions are extra often than not no longer sleep experts, many are not even scientific experts. i'm no longer attentive to any peer evaluate evidence demonstrating the sport of an alien abduction in a lab consistent with sleep analyze. that's possibly that some alien abductions are Sleep Paralysis. basically like some UFOs are basically airplanes or secret protection rigidity plane fairly than alien spaceships. besides the shown fact that, it can't probable supply a proof for many abductions. working example, Travis Walton grow to be conscious and walking around whilst he grow to be taken. people observed him being abducted, and he grow to be lacking for extremely a while. Did he nod off for quite a few days and go through Sleep Paralysis for a era so long that he'd have died of thirst and/or exposure? Sleep Paralysis additionally can't clarify issues at the same time with scars, implants, etc. that's an effortless answer used to fob people off. there is even much less scientific evidence for Sleep Paralysis being at the back of nearly all of abductions than there is evidence of extraterrestrial beings. that's basically approximately completely anecdotal, or that's consistent with circumstances that are unrelated.

As a Christian, there is only one way I can give you an answer to your question. I believe that Christ will indeed take those up to him that are believers.
Oddly enough, if you have ever read the "Left Behind" series of books (fiction), you will see that the "antichrist" used the theory of alien abduction as an explanation for the rapture. He certainly would not want the remaining people to think that God had anything to do with it would he?
As to whether or not it is a ploy to get people to forget about the promises of Christ I do not know but it would certainly be a good one considering the amount of UFO type of stuff we are inundated with on TV etc.

The Rapture is more credible. If you look objectively at The Bible you will find prophecy fulfilled throughout its writings.Historically proven facts. The Bible has history backing it up.
Aliens are the things of sci fi and over active imaginations. They also are a nice excuse for anyone who chooses to disbelieve the truth of The Bible.

I always thought the Rapture sounded more like an alien abduction.
Passing over to the other side without dying??? that sounds like one of those things cult leaders say: hey, the aliens are gonna come and take us to another dimension, now drink up that cyanide.

The whole "rapture" thing is disputed among christians, as there are questions as to whether this passage is literal or figurative. Having said that, and being a follower of Christ, and having nothing else definitive to go on, I won't be surprised when/if I disappear all of a sudden one day.

There’s no evidence whatsoever for a god or rapture, but alien abductions are well documented. Of course, most people don’t believe it happens but it’s not so far fetched, I mean, there’s no hocus-pocus here, it’s simply other beings dropping in to snatch people, what’s so impossible about that? I know some people who have been abducted, they were taken up into a spaceship and healed. One woman had breast cancer and the aliens removed it in seconds, I know her personally, it’s true one hundred percent (she has the medical proof). But no one believes it simply because you’re not supposed to believe it, however they are not worried about convincing unbelievers, they don’t care, they make contact with open-minded people and they give them proof of their existence. I too have seen something and that’s why I know for sure and quite frankly I don’t care who believes.

I think it is a mix of both. The devil is obviously an evil alien. My theory is supported by the well known fact that alien's like to probe unsuspecting peoples anus's. Obviously these evil aliens have travelled millions upon millions of miles across space to come to our planet and inflict terrible injuries on our bums.
