Any suggestions on what to do? And am i the only one with hair like this, just about every guy i see has hair that is nice and flat down on the head, is my hair just weird or am i doing something wrong. I take showers a few times a week an shampoo every time, no conditioner..it just makes things worse

Well first of all, think about your age, if you are definitely at the appropriate age to start worrying about your looks then that is fine, if not well don't worry about it yet.

My advice would be to definitely lay off the hairspray..period. It smells bad and it makes your hair look crunchy.
You could either
1. Cut your hair shorter so you have less to deal with...some guys can definitely pull off the short buzzed look.
2. Try letting your hair just air dry...you wouldn't believe the difference.
3. Keep using a moisturizing shampoo, and i suggest you start using a moisturizing conditioner as well, it will make your hair a tad bit heavier and your hair will stay smooth and detangled. The conditioner will definitely take care of the dryness.

For the poofy part: there are some light products you can use...the best i would say is FRIZZ-EASE by JOHN FRIEDA there are many different products and i bet you could find the best for your hair type...you can find that product anywhere (target, walmart, grocery stores)

the thanks to locate the great products on your hair is to attempt all of them. that should be fairly extreme priced yet flow over to a associates living house and use a number of her stuff. See the way it fairly works, and in simple terms shop attempting new issues. Hair ought to artwork with products from this organisation and under no circumstances that organisation....it really is all trial and mistake. If i visit point something, i'd advise you try a warm oil medical care....for a more cost-effective thanks to have tremendous gentle and silky hair with a lot less frizzies, warmth up some olive oil (conventional cooking stuff) in the microwave and rub down it into your hair even as it really is dry. Wrap it up in a warmth towel from the drier and sit for an hour or so. perchance provide your self a facial at the same time. Then get in the bathe, and shampoo out each of the oil (because water gained't get the oil out--oil and water do not blend) and then situation your hair. Viola! suitable silky hair. the most key element to protecting your locks is to stay faraway from all warmth. Yep, meaning no hairdrier, no straightner, no curling iron both....it really is totally hard now to not ad to those products yet in simple terms attempt it for a week. do not blow dry your hair for a week....attempt it. i be conscious of it really is hard now to not yet in case you stay faraway from issues with warmth alongside with blow driers, curling irons, straightners, and so on....you'll see an excellent change in the texture and seem of your hair. it really is going to be so a lot fit.

I have the same problem.
To reduce it, I take warm (not hot) showers, and put conditioner in my hair right after I shampoo it.

I have curly yet unruly, "big" hair when I don't use Sunsilk. I can't remember what it is for specifically, but it's the hair creme in the pink bottle.
A close shave works too...:-)

Sunsilk has an "anti poof" shampoo and conditioner that is working pretty well for me.

you should get a hair serum. that will help smooth out the puffiness and get it more workable. then i would suggest using some mousse to style how you want.
