Isaiah 64:6 says, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." If we do good things to try to earn their way into heaven, it's not good enough and never will be. If, however, we believe in Jesus Christ's saving blood and do good things out of love and obedience to Him, then He honors it.

no, good deeds are good deeds. It helps to believe in God as His word is a guide in many decisions people make.

If I were dangling from a cliff... would I accept a rope only from someone who has the same belief as me? No, we would all take the help without asking. A christian would not deny the help of an atheist... many christians have life saving procedures done by non-theist MDs.
A good deed stands (no god necessary).

A good deed is good no matter what you believe in. A good deed without thought of reward?- gotta be better. just my thought though.

No, they are not any less good. God may not have anything to do with your quality of life, but your deeds do.

A good deed is non-sectarian. The difference is atheists do good things because they need to be done, not because an entity compels them to do so, nor in the expectation of reward in an afterlife.

Only God is good.
You were created to glorify God, that is how you got the good in you in the first place. That is the Christian theme.
