definitly not! you need those vitamins and nutrients that only bread, rice, and other starch products can give to you.
if your trying to lose weight try this:
Eat no more than 4 pieces of bread a day
Cut back on the more fatty foods, like chips, soda, and candy.
Eat less meat(but dont stop eating it altogether)like steak, pork, and hamburger
Try doing some simple exercises at home too
If you follow this for at least a month straight, then you will start noticing a difference

You should cut out refined carbs like white bread, because all of the nutrients have taken out. The fibers in whole grain breads will satisfy your urge to eat more and are better for you.

Of course it is OK. However whole grain bread is a good source of fiber. Maybe just cut back to a couple slices a day but make sure it is true whole grain.

More than just stripping bread from your diet, you should eliminate over-processed "white" foods (white bread, pasta, steamed rice, sugar, potatoes, sugary cereals, etc)
I think you will find you can still lose weight and improve your heart health if you eat breads made from whole grains. (wheat, rye, oat, flaxseed, etc)
Good luck with that diet! I lost a LOT getting some carbs out of my system.

I was in the same boat as you , too much bread a day, so I changed. I could not stop my bread eating so I looked on the net and found some low carb and low fat recipes for homemade bread The one I found was low carb and I changed the fats for substitutes you can find on the net. A friend had a bread maker he never used and gave it to me. Easy and takes no time to get ready. Throw eveything in the machine set it and forget it { stole that saying LOL }http://www.lowcarbluxury.com/recipes/recipe-bread25.htmlhttp://www.angelfire.com/ny5/mar661/inxlowfat.html

You can get the whole grains from whole grain cereals and all you need is like 1 bowl a day. Add fiber by eating fresh fruit also.

Well maybe try a low-fat bread like wheat and eat a peice of toast with low fat butter/margerine on it! Make sure you get enough of each food group (exept fats, even though they're okay every once in a while!)
