Don't be silly. It's genetics.

That means that when people with like traits (especially rarer ones, which are often recessive) mate, their offspring is more likely to show those traits, because the parents both have that genetic material. To simplify things (way simplify, this is not scientific, just an example to help you understand), let's say you have two genes for hair color, two for skin color, two for eye color. In order to have red hair, you need two red hair genes, in order to have freckles, you need two freckle genes, light eyes, two light eye genes. So people with red hair, freckles, and light eyes aren't going to have those other genes that would combine and make different results, because they are "full" of the genes they're displaying. Whereas someone with brown hair and brown eyes may have a brown and a red hair gene, and a brown and a blue eye gene, but the more dominant brown genes are what is showing. So if that brown hair/brown eye person married another person with genes exactly the same as theirs, they could end up with children with red hair and blue eyes, or brown hair and brown eyes. (If I recall what I learned 15 years ago correctly, there's also actually a specific circumstance with red hair that makes it much more likely you would have blue or green eyes with red hair, and not brown. The genes are linked in some way.)

Once again, that is simplified beyond belief, because genetics is complicated. But maybe that will help you understand a little.

It is a dominate gene. Not a disease! Just like if you have blue eyes, but you have a child with someone with brown eyes, the child has 3/4 chance of having brown eyes then blue.

These people are called ginger kids. They have a disease called "gingervitis". They are known to have no soul and only come out at night.

The people who have red hair and no freckles are called day walkers cause they can tolerate the sun. Keep in mind these kids are just as evil.
