I am concerned about the pet food that is tainted.....I find several brand names of dog food, but can't find out if Friskies canned cat food is one to be concerned with. Friskes is made by purina but I can't get any information on it. Do you ?

You're in luck... Purina line of cat food are not on the list. This includes Friskies, Fancy Feats, Purina One, etc. Purina pulled out only 1 dog food in pouch wheich was manufactured by Menyfoods - the company that gave us all this huge trouble (gee... I hate them now).

Go to friskies.com they will let you know. They say they are not affected by the recall. My cats eat friskies so I checked.

Friskies wasn't on the list but was one that was listed as an alternative to be feeding til they were able to correct the problem with the foods recalled.

I don't know the brands other than Iams, but I just heard on the news that it's only the wet food. The dry food is fine.

I know if you bought any from wal-mart, they will take it back and refund money. I had to take my mothers cat food back.
