Have you checked you pet food labels? 60 MILLION cans of cat and dog food have been recalled. Cats and dogs are dying appx 7 min. after eating the food and the ones that don't die have quit eaing and it's too soon to tell if they will die too!

Here's the website to check on the products and product numbers:

menufoods.com.

To Bozema: try KCRA.com if you want to be informed from the news. The company itself tested the products on cats AND dogs, and they had 7 deaths....which is why they put out the recall! Unless you are informed you should not accuse someone of spreading rumors!

The website is www.menufoods.com.

What is your source of information? While there have been reports of illness in some cats and a few deaths from kidney failure, there have been no reports of deaths in dogs. I neither seen nor have I heard anything about animals dying 7 minutes after eating the food, nor have animals been dying rapidly in large numbers. The dog food was recalled as a precaution.

Don't spread rumors and try to scare people unnecessarily. People should check to see if the food they are using is recalled and change food if necessary. If their animal is sick, they should see a vet.

EDIT

I went to your website and it proved my point. It said of 40-50 animals tested by the company that 7 animals died, species unknown - not that they died in 7 minutes. The same report states that there have been reports of 10 animals dying nationwide and the Iams press release indicated that all 10 were cats. You are the one spreading misinfomation.
