First think about what you'd be comfortable doing with her -- and I don't mean 'that'.... Do you like to bowl, or have pizza? Or go to a movie? Or walk in the park... Something where you are comfortable... And then ask her if she'd like to do that with you ... You might give her two options.. "Would you go to a movie with me? Or like to go to the XXXXX Festival on Saturday?.... Have a plan in mind. Don't just ask her "out"... that's too vague. A girl wants to know what she's getting herself into before she says 'yes'..... And if it is a movie, you might want to be aware of what is playing at the theatre you can get to... give her choices... Pick out three or four movies you wouldn't mind seeing and give her a choice. If the date is for a meal, think about two or three places you like and give her a choice. Then you feel comfortable and she feels she has some control over the situation. Shows you are not a control freak. Shows you are considerate. Hope this works.

Ask her to something like a football game or something - like it's no big deal - but drop the hint that it's just going to be the two of you going together. This way you're asking her out but not in a way that's cheesy & out there. Be casual about it so no one gets embarassed.

As a girl I like the straight forward confident approach." I think you are very interesting. Would you like to go to dinner and a movie? I would like to know if we may have enough in common to enjoy dating." Good luck.

If you want to be subtle about it, just call her. Ask her out over the phone.
