night clubs, don't know.
shopping, Rotterdam Square Mall just west of the city.
attractions: Maple Ski Ridge west of Rotterdam Square Mall,
Empire State Aerosciences Museum at the county airport,
Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve, Lock 5 State Canal Park, Peebles Island State Park, east along the north shore of the Mohawk River. Plus Museums in Albany.

It's near Albany, which is the state Capitol of NY. There is lots to do. Go to Hudson, NY and see the Hudson River Valley it is about the most beautiful place I ever lived, I lived in Kinderhook, NY - go to the Treasure Shop there.

You have my sympathy. Move. That's what my parents did many years ago and I thank them quietly every day for making such a wise decision.
