Well, I like this boy who is 15 and he is really shy. He was never like this before he found out I liked him. All though he likes me too we dont talk. We just look at each other and go along with our day. Not even a single word comes out of our mouth when we are around each other. What could this mean? How can I start a conversation and break his shyness?

Find out what he likes. Talk to his friends if you need to. Get interested in those subjects yourself then talk to him about them.

before he found out you him liked things were going well. that should be a clue. perhaps he now feels a little overwhelmed. he was okay as your friend but once you moved the relationship up a notch he felt shy.
you can't break him. what you can do is go back to when he felt comfortable with you. let him know it is okay for you to just be friends. this way he can feel it will be his choice to move things up as he already knows how you feel.

k this is how i got a guy to start talking to me and then to every one else. find out his email address and then see if he has im or anything like that and if you dont have the same email as him then get another one so that you can talk to him. people can talk with much more ease when they are not face to face with that person. when you first talk to him dont talk about any thing serious or that would be hard for him to talk to you about, just take it easy at first. try it i know it will work

You don't break his shyness, especially if that's part of his personality, any more than you break your girlishness.
But you can just go up to him and say hi, and talk about class, or teachers, or the game this weekend, or the dandelion festival that's coming up in your town, or about lunch, or....

you could no longer extremely wreck your shyness... yet only attempt to step out of your convenience zone and socialize little by ability of little :P finally you will benefit greater self assurance and step out of your convenience zone

you can't change him, you can only change your own actions. so if you're into him and want it to work, make it easier on him, don't expect him to chat you up, alleviate his nerves by talking to him, take some of his pressure off, try acting like nothin has changed, that this crush hasn't made huge changes and that he doesn't have to be so scared.

maybe start with direct "yes" or "no" questions, just to kinda clue you in to where his train of thought is. go from there. if he doesn't talk to you still, ask him directly as to why. if no answer, move on.
