This is for a school project due in a couple weeks. If you don't know what your worldview is that's okay. A couple options of the most reliable source of information would be the Bible, the Quran, yourself, etc. This is just what YOU think.

Smarty, in regard to your avatar I would say reliability is relative. Of course there is no absolutely reliable source. But I should think some sources are more reliable than others, and that's what was asked here.
My bets for the most reliable source of information are on "logic". In an abstract mathematical system, I can declare certain presumptions and then I can deduce certain conclusions with absolute certainty. Of course, this does not prove the presumptions. But it is a school of thinking which often leads to applicable results anyway.
I have my senses to receive information and my rational mind to draw conclusions. Both are powerful tools. Therefore I am not inclined to subscribe to pre-fabricated opinions from a book.

My worldview is that of Christianity. The most reliable source of information for my worldview of course would have to be the bible tempered with reason, but I am of the opinion that all books and worldviews add something profound to the discourse of life. "Wisdom calls out in the streets" says Proverbs. That means even that 5 dollar hooker on the corner has a helpful bit of information. But once we've FOUND this information, it is our job to sift out what is real and what is b.s. and understand these things in their proper context because no matter what book you read or worldview you adhere to, if you have poor understanding, it's all in vain.

There is no "reliable" source of knowledge for mankind. Religious books are filled with fallacies, science has many wonderful bits and pieces, but so much we do not know.

Ultimately... it's not about having reliable information, it's about seeking it.... and keeping an open worldview.

The ONLY reliable souce of information is scientific study, which means organized study based on logical analysis of evidence. The bible and the Qur'an are not reliable sources; both have errors.

By far the most reliable source of information is Mathematics. The second most reliable source is Science. Humans lie and are fallible. Books are written by humans. Science is at least testable. Math is provable.

The most reliable source of information is the internet. Or, I like going to libraries. I can read about Richard Gene Simmons or helium's atomic weight.

Some people find other people to be a source of information, like kids to teachers, commonfolk to the mayor, and other stuff like that.

My "spiritual view" if you wish to call this a "world view" is Pagan, mostly Wiccan. I believe the world to be a living organism in its own right, capable of being treated well or harmed. The Native Americans believe the Earth to be our mother; if so, we are much like in a womb. If we harm our mother, we harm ourselves. If we heal her, we heal ourselves.

As to a reliable source of information, I believe that to be experience. We know what works by doing it and seeing first-hand the consequences. Next would be the experience of others; we see what they do, and see what happens to them.

A worldview is usually described as looking at the world through a reigious and cultural lens. Using that notion, I would have to say that my lens is clear of religion as I have studied many. As for cultural, I suppose that my lens is as America-colored as other folks.

Vedic Ariyan scriptures( way older than present religious scriptures) , in sanskrit and slavic. Ariyan is a noble/spiritual person, nothing to do with race. Hitler used these same scriptures and twisted them to fit his agenda. Te universe is contained in God and all our experiences are part of him. I mean think logically, how can God have created heaven if it is external to him? fact is there is no heaven/hell. He pervades the entire universe and everything is part of him. you cannot create anything external to you, it can only come from within.. If you have an eternal life, it means you were never born either, cause that which is born is sure to die, you being eternal cannot die and could not have been born...

I suppose you would say I'm a monist, and the most reliable source of information is objective evidence and rational thought.
