how long should i take before i go back to the life i had before i met her, and go out and find someone new to share my life with the same way i shared it with her?

Wait until you are totally comfortable with letting someone else into your life, I would say at least a month or two. And no matter what, don't start comparing your new girlfriend to your old one, accept the happy memories you had and let those remain in the past.

wow. I'd say just take as long as you need/want. There's no rush. You'll know when your ready to move on. If you feel you can't just believe that God will always be with you and that your girlfriend would probabally want you to move on if she really cared about you.

well, im really sorry to hear about your girlfriend. i think you should take a break from the world a little. experience everything little by little until YOU feel its time. just hold on. dont think of it as shes gone. shes in a better place. she would want you to enjoy life. i wish you the best. just hold on, and be strong for her.

When you have healed yourself enough to open your heart back up again....there is no standard time frame...when you are comfortable to move on.. Howver I suggest taking some time to yourself first and trying not to just fill the void she has left you with.
