no citation for either party involved was issued, but my insurance paid off for the other party and only paid out a flat $1000 on my behalf. My medical bills have reached almost $100,000 and my injuries left me with a metal plate and 2 pins in the knee,a rod in my leg,and 3 pins in my ankle. I was 2 months on a walker and just now started the use of crutches. It will be months before I can even start to bear weight on my leg. With astronomical bills and lack of employment, I am thinking of sueing her insurance for some or all of the medical debt.

You better find out if your insurance company put you at fault for the accident...there's a good chance if they paid $1000 to the other party. If you're at fault then you're not recovering anything from anyone. And you can't sue her insurance...you'd have to sue her.
