Despite our current president I think the world is getting better. Crime has been on a general trend downward for decades now. Poverty is down. Literacy is up. New cures for disease are found every year. It only seems worse because we have more news channels.

The media always seems to focus on the bad. They keep feeding us the bad until we are blinded to the good.

It is getting better in many ways...In order to gage progress, you have to compare a point in history with today and you will see that overall, things are changing for the better. Slower in some places...but still.

I think it's getting slightly better. The risk of thermonuclear war has reduced.
