ugh...clingy guys. well just give him hints that you need your space and that your not ready to be that close. dont be so blunt about it. try to be as nice as possible even tho there is no nice way of saying get away from me.

I was once clingy...
But my girlfriend told me that its better to have space, I gave her it, and we are still going out (nearly 2 years now).
Its better to imply it rather than say it bluntly, make your boyfriend feel that he is doing the right thing by himself rather than being 'under the thumb'. If he doesn't get it soon then tell him, but don't say that you've been implying that (as he will then feel a fool).
After all this, and he still isn't getting the point, show him the curb (politely!)

How sad....he probably cares for you very much. Maybe you'll like a guy who acts all baddazz and stuff...a lot of girls do. Yeah, go ahead and get rid of him. Then he can find another girl who appreciates him.
