Scripture clearly states that Jesus was the Son of God and that he was a descendants of King David. That being said I can tell you where some of this woman thing comes from. Mind you I do not agree with this thinking but I have had to listen to arguments for this view point so here goes. Some people use the book of Wisdom (in Catholic Bible or for the rest of us a book in the Apocrypha) to say that the spirit of Wisdom is clearly of feminine nature. Since Jesus is referred to as the perfect one and God has perfect wisdom they then conclude that Jesus was actually the spirit of wisdom in the flesh and thus had a feminine side. Again--- NOT what I believe -just trying to answer your question.

This new evidence may help you in your search for religion/God/Jesus.
There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:
1. He called everyone brother.
2. He liked Gospel.
3. He couldn't get a fair trial.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:
1. He went into His Father's business.
2. He lived at home until he was 33.
3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure He was God.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:
1. He talked with His hands.
2. He had wine with His meals.
3. He used olive oil.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian:
1. He never cut His hair.
2. He walked around barefoot all the time.
3. He started a new religion.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was an American Indian
1. He was at peace with nature.
2. He ate a lot of fish.
3. He talked about the Great Spirit.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish:
1. He never got married.
2. He was always telling stories.
3. He loved green pastures.
But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a WOMAN:
1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food.
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it.
3. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was work to do.

He was actually of the Original Essenes which is an ancient sect of Judaism. But Not necessarily the race Jewish. Not black or women though. For the original New Testament and teachings of Jesus Read Gospel of the Nazirenes google gospelofthenazirenes.c You will be enlivened.

Forget not that there are Jews in Africa whose families have lived there since Jacob's sons scattered the Middle East. Most notably are Jews still in present day Ethiopia. Many of these Jews believe that Mary was a member of their tribe. And, that she was born in Ethiopia and that Joseph took her to Palestine.
Further, the Script says that Jesus has hair like the wool of a sheep and feet that appear bronze.
Jewish is not a race in my book. Much like Christian. Jews scattered throughout the Middle East and north Africa. To assume Christ looks anything like how he is depicted in the US is folly in my holy opinion.
Lest we forget the hundreds and thousands of statutes and paintings of Christ as a black man in Russia and Europe before the Reinassance.

Back then, there wasn't a very high volume of immigration via planes or whatnot. Plus, the New World wasn't discovered yet. I doubt seriously that he had blue eyes and was White, though. He looked like any other Aramaic-speaking person of the time. He wasn't Black either. He was Middle-Eastern.

People are just trying to bring Jesus to life for themselves in a form they can relate to...like the painters during the Renaissance...
I doubt he was black, but I see no harm in black people thinking of him as black...sort of like their black Santa Claus.
I really can't see Him as a woman though. Would the Romans have crucified a woman, I wonder?

I'm with you on this.
I live near the border, and have seen Jesus shown in pictures as being Mexican.
Is it because people need to feel an ethnic tie to their savior?
Jesus was born Hebrew on this earth. We may not know what he looked like sure. But we do know what he was. Why can't we as a people in general accept that?

Obviously value only runs skin deep with some people. The bible is never concerned with looks if you recall, and it doesn't matter what Jesus looked like or what his race was, what matters is his WORD.

certain. Like many different historic Prophets. shop in ideas Mary and Joseph fled to historic Egypt to flee refugees to blend in with different historic Egyptians. And all of us be conscious of the historic Egyptians were between the various sons of Ham, an African like their older brothers; the Nubians, Kushites and and so on.
