I believe that you certainly can and that it would be more beneficial than supernatural religion by emphasizing how we treat each other, rather than trying to denigrate and control other peoples' behavior, as many current sky daddy religions do.

I believe that everyone can be spiritual whether they believe in deities and/or supernatural powers or not. I'm a Deist, I believe there's a God, not the biblical one, but a different One. I'm spiritual, I have relationships with people and surroundings, and it's somewhat spiritual, but I also find myself feeling that there's a Higher Power than myself, and I always follow my heart. That doesn't mean I don't respect other people's opinions,Atheists have spirituality, love is spirituality isn't it? And Atheists are just people, they experience love. Spirituality can have a strong role in the community. A spiritual person, whether he's Theist or not, can achieve self-peace at many levels, and maybe have a better moral compass to lead him in his/her life, which reflects well in his relationship with people and things.

Wow....it truly is a mouth finished and a ideas finished. I too am a Pantheist Pagan or perhaps even if my beliefs variety from yours (fairly) i visit verify the point you attempt to make. there'll continuously be those who say we worship the created and under no circumstances the author yet when the universe replaced into certainly created with assistance from the hand (or ideas) of the Divine then it too holds divinity and the appreciation and acknowledgment of it truly is what Pantheism is (to me). it truly is no longer worship. it really is ordinary reverence. I revere the universe, I appreciate it and do not ignore that i visit under no circumstances understand or be conscious of each thing. We study, we strengthen and we evolve. it extremely is the nature of people (as is my information people). What we do with the understanding we benefit isn't continuously pleasant and is no longer continuously interior functional comprehension. All we can fairly do is study from our blunders and do our magnificent now to not repeat the previous. it extremely is my Pantheist reaction. i did not intend to go away a lengthy one yet i'm wakeful and fantastically caffeinated this morning so there ya flow....

To me spirituality is a kind of inner-peace that comes from knowing yourself and what you perceive as you place in (or connection to) the world. That spirituality may or may not include god(s).
I respect everyones right to believe as they choose whether or not my beliefs are the same.
I'd like to be able to say that spirituality could bring society together but the truth is that we as human beings have not emotionally evolved to that point yet.

It's not possible to have a spiritual connection (i.e relationship) that has a beginning, middle, and end. Anyone who has ever made a connection with any part of this world, has glimpsed eternity. Anyone who has ever loved knows that it's constant; unchanging.
Without that connection to the everlasting, there is no spirituality. Without the recognition of God in every living being: rock, leaf, wolf...we have no purpose and therefore no intent. We would wither and die and become putrid.

yes im sure it can
being spiritual ( despite the spirit ref ) is when a connection is made with all
with nature/people/earth/universe
that collective consciousness
of course you can feel that without the need for a belief in God or in spirit
however I have found that one does tend to lead to the other ( although not always )
edit
it would play a very important role in society
when that connection is made with all around , then you are more likely to treat everyone and everything with the same respect and love you wish to have yourself

Id have to read the whole thing, in detail and come to a conclusion.
As it is, that would be a first in history=spirituality without a soul

I'm not sure if I see how to have spirituality without spirit. I think the connections you're talking about would be better referred to by another term.

Yes and in fact it happens all over the globe.
I respect peoples right to choose it, I do not respect the ideas themselves anymore than you would accept Hitlers teachings. I believe they are false and only serve man the purpose of keeping him from God.
