No one can know that they are right, or I guess wrong for that matter. But we are all responsible to figuring out what to do with ourselves, even though we can never be sure that we are doing is the right thing.

All people are choosing what reality that want to believe, even if they say they are not. I believe in the Bible and know that I believe it because I chose to, and that I have no way to know that I am right, only if it feels right. But feels right is the only thing I have to go on, and it is subjective too. Everyone does this. Christens, Muslims, Atheists, there is no exception.

The thing I feel is happening in all human minds is the need to think we ARE right at this moment in time. Once you let go of the need to be right, you can start to find the truth, with unbiased judgment.

Because of subjectivity if I feel I have the one truth, then I couldn't possibly have it. All I would have done is subjectively decided I had it. To me that only means I have stopped making progress

Such choices are highly constrained by the structure of the human body. However, basically you have a good point.

> I believe in the Bible and know that I believe it because I chose to

I have no problem with you holding such a belief.

You are now projecting. What evidence do you have that every single person on earth believes that his/her religious or other belief system must be correct? Little, I assume, as many people are unsure of their belief system, and many others, particularly non-religious types, do not claim to know for a fact what truth is all about. That is the realm of religious people.

Reality is a persistent illusion. Experiences of all people are just part of one existence(God). You can choose whatever path you want , for there are as many paths to God as there are disciples. But you go wrong when you say yours is the only path and other paths lead to hell..so dont worry about trivial things , just have faith

My belief is subjective, I am constantly re-evaluating in light of new revealed evidence. While some the the trappings have changed, the basic core has stood.

What we perceive is not reality, but reality exposed to our method of questioning.
