For SOME women its awkward to go around advertising to the public that they masturbate for personal pleasure ( who really cares ? ) .
Its just leaves vulnerability for unwanted situations.
For guys it's the same thing. Some just feel less awkward blurting it out to the public or just don't know any better not to keep their personal stuff private.

i have honestly never lied about that! I really dont do it... thats what my man is for!
guys are assumed to do it all the time because they talk about it all the time... sex is the most talked about topic by most of the guys i know. the way i see it what ever you do to make yourself happy go for it...
for sum people use their hands or toys and some only do that kindda stuff with their loved ones... i dont think its a huge issues and i think some people need to grow up about the whole topic a bit! :D

First off... If i ever hear a woman says that she doen't ever masterbate... i will call her a liar to her face! I know better! being a woman and all, lol! Some woman just like to consider themselves more proper and reserved, so they won't admit it! I know that I used to be that way, but I don't hide that fact anymore! Everyone does it! It's a natural thing!

it's not so much that women lie about it, it's that a lot of women choose not to talk about it. [[we're classy like that]]
guys make jokes about it often so it's natural to assume they do it just as much as they talk about it.

I guess for guys, it's cool, while a lot of women feel like it's dirty. Geez, it's just a fact of life. Without it, we'd all be lunatics. Women aren't as comfortable with their bodies as men are.

I'm guessing cuz its more accepted as well as stereotyped that females are the more polite ones, they don't do those kind of things.

Women have be led to believe masturbation is not "ladylike".
Of course that's not true & it's changing.
