No. Alluminum foil is shiney, playful stuff for cats/ kittens. They love to tear it up---at least, my cats do. If you want to more, e-mail or IM me. Thanks!

I don't know a but walk on it, but I put some on my counters for awhile to train a new adult cat not to jump up there and get at the food and it worked perfectly so I guess they must at the very least be scared of it, the foil is long gone but he never ever climbs up.

No. It's not true. cats absolutely walk on aluminum foil. It's not like they will die if they do.

However, many cats do not like the way aluminum feels on their feet when it's been crumpled and then flattened out. It can be a deterrent to a cat that goes someplace you don't want him to.

Cats will walk on aluminum foil, no problem.

However, stretch some Saran Wrap between two tables, and you can bet the cat won't be walking on it.

False. I've heard to put it on your cabinet counters and they are scared to walk on it. Mine walk all over it. They think it's just part of the counter. some cats may be scared of it, but not mine. I think it only draws their attention.
