To determine the validity of the metaphor as a tool of God, I set up an experiment. On the premise that God would not want us to misinterpret his Bible.

There's my metaphor. It's about the Brits flooding the Chinese market with opium. Interestingly enough, no one understood it was a metaphor pertaining to Marx's mention of religion being the opiate of the masses. My comment could have had nothing to do with religion or everything to do with religion.

Proof that no sane God would EVER EVEN CONSIDER using metaphors in their "word." Metaphors are completely illegitimate in law, for precisely the above proven reason. They are an inconvenient tool for communicating ones meanings.

So stop using metaphors as an excuse. It pisses me off. It's even stupidier than "the devil did it" and that's saying something.

Retard is a musical term, so I tend to use it loosely. I play the violin (good too.)

You don't play an instrument "good", perhaps you play it "well", I'd have to hear you to make that judgment for myself.

When you ask a question, you can expect answers. You can't dictate what form the answers will take, whether or not it "pisses" you off.
