Yes, it's possible, but if you stay with your boyfriend just so you don't break his heart, than you are wrong. You might be making it worst for both of you. If that's the real reason, then I suggest you tell him you want to break up because you won't be giving him the attention he deserves and will probably end up being more hurt at the end.

Yes. Dump your boyfriend, you will break his heart more if you stay in a relationship that you know you aren't putting your whole heart into and then eventually things probably wont work out and you will break up anyway. The more you prolong it the worse it will be when you actually break it off. Plus life is too short and you need to be with the guy you know you will be happier with. Talking from experience, trust me!

Yeah i think its true and that it can happen...Im in the same situation right now only im the single one and she is the one with a b/f...We have a great time together and laugh, talk, act goofy...When she is with me i allow her to be herself...But is that enough to end it with someone you have been with for 3 yrs. I dont know...Im sure you care for your b/f but is it fair to him that you stay with him while you love someone else...Be fair to him tell him how you feel. If you dont plan on leaving him then you have to forget about then other guy...Good luck in your venture im in the same one...

You are breaking his heart slower and more painfully now - than just ending things, have a spine and some respect for the man you are stringing along and end it before you look like a two timing hussy,.......... wait too late.

It's possible if you're talking about yourself. You may not want to break his heart but to string him along is cruel. Honesty is the best policy.

then you're not being fair to you or your bf. If you like someone else then break up with him. You have to be honest and he'll get over it. Then he'll have the chance to be with someone who loves him as much as he loves her. And right now he's not getting that chance

of course caring for someone else doesn't mean you cant care for others. its hard not to be nice, but if u arent satisfied with ur bf u should break up. maybe hed be ok with you dating two people! i doubt that, but i think thats just a silly social norm...
