I lost a dog in Colorado to Kidney Failure January 17th, 2007. I fed him both the hard and soft Iam's food. The vet autposied my dog and assumed that he died of of a sudden onset of Addison's disease.

they discovered that their products were tainted on the 17th. iam so sorry to hear of your loss.

Iam's has been a bad brand of food for a long, long time. There is no way you can link it to this recall, but it may have been the food that killed the dog anyway assuming you ruled out the ingestion of toxins.

Go to this site and there's the date you're supposed to look for on the bottom of the cans and pouches.
