how do i talk to my parents about my girlfriend?

i'm in 8th grade, and my parents make it really awkward to talk about girls and stuff. How do i tell them i have a girlfriend, and make them let me hang out with her.

well unfortunately you cant make them but you can maybe bring it up when you ask that you want to go out like when you ask to go to her house or out with her and the ask who that is say your gf
