It sounds like a slight case of siatica. It's a big nerve that runs down your whole boddy. It also sounds like " restless leg syndrome. I'm sure you've heard the adds for that one on tv. They make a medicine, but if you're like me and don't like taking pills, I would suggest keeping yourself, hydrated. I have the same problem, most nights. But it's a lot worse in the mornings after a night of drinking. Thats my theory, honey. I hope it helps. And if you feel like you need a massage, don't hesitate to call me!! Hope you get a good night sleep!

Might be R.L.S. or Restless Leg Syndrome. I have experienced this and its mainly behind my knee caps and only when I lie in bed. It feels like a discomfort/pulling/stretching of my legs. I've read on wikipedia that it's possible that its caused by an Iron deficiency, and that although there is no cure, there are numerous prescription drugs which advertise relieve. But as with most prescription drugs, I'm afraid they will do more harm than good. If you go to Google and type in Restless Leg Syndrome you can look at the descriptions and see if it matches your symptoms.

It sounds like growing pains, or tight muscles?? Do you do anything that requires lifting your legs repeatedly during the day?? And, have U tried stretching your leg muscles at night, both in the front and back?? I would recommend stretching and holding it for 30-60 seconds, and see if it helps...

Additionally, I might take some ibuprofen or advil before you go to bed. Ibuprofen is a muscle relaxant and analgesic, 200-400 mg might help U get some rest.

Finally, if you still can't get rid of the pain, I would see a doctor.
