I need color suggestions and things I should have in the bedroom to make it 'glam'. I want it to be really pretty, and the room is medium size.

What you think is glamorous and what someone else thinks is glamorous are two different things. As an overall suggestion I would pick a color I liked, such as pink or violet, mist green or some other pastel shade and build from there.
I would try to have almost everything that color. The walls, the drapes, the bed spread etc. I would contrast this with white doors and baseboard and molding around the windows.

Buy one of those net canopies(the kind that just hang from the ceiling). I bought one and my ordinary bedroom now gets so many compliments. Lots of candles make it nice too. I also bought some dried vine from michaels that comes in a roll, added some artificial berries that compliment my colors(purple tones and ivory) and made a garland that works as a wall border next to the ceiling. Find a nice poster and invest in a good frame as that makes all the difference, as will a nice mirror. Choose more than one layer for curtains in order to bring out the different colors. Finally, you can decorate a plain lampshade with ribbons/beads to match the rest of your room. Hope this helps a little and have fun with it!

For teens theres amazing spreads from Seventeen Magazine. You can always go to HGTV.com and take a survey of your interests and see what you would potenially put in your room, I'd suggest colouring and planning out everything you need, wheater it be a desk for sudying, or working, you deffinatly need a bed, and a dresser/armour. Watching TLC and HGTV can really help with ideas. Good stores to go to are Bed Bath and Beyond, also Pier 1 Imports, JC Penney is also good, Macy's and getting catalogs for places can show you examples of rooms, and also at Home Depot and Lowes, the paint sample guised also show you rooms and decorating ideas. Another place to look is Behr.com and other paint website, they can take paint and match it to your room. Artvan.com's Room planner can show you the set up and lay out of your room. If you need anything esle you can always E-mail me! Hope that helped!
