I'm sorry I am not going to give you exact numbers but I can tell you that my husband and I are big believers in tithing (10%).

You will not get many honest answers. I will answer honestly but not provide figures.
I am permanently disabled living on a fixed income but living quite well. By no means living in poverty.
I am a Hedge Witch.
I give what I can financially to a few select charities, but much less than 10% of my income. However, I spend countless hours counseling people who have untreatable diseases. Am heavily involved in a support group for the same. If you were to pay me minimum wage for those hours you would be paying me about $150 a week.

I am on long-term disability, I make about $12,480 a year. Annually we usually give around $2,000 to charities but we do not tithe in our religion. We pay our way for activities etc. We are CR pagans.

I'm not so sure I'm comfortable answering all of these questions with actual figures, but suffice to say I make about half what you do, my religion is Daemonolatry, and I give about 1K a year (includes money, clothing, and food), and about 500 hours of my time every year.

Do you really expect people to honestly answer such a personal question? Instead of asking us this, I'd be asking that teacher why they think it's any of their business! I can't believe some people have no qualms about being nosy...or being willing to give out such personal information.

You make good money. Those questions are a little personal and I don't think your child should have such reports. Someone is asking for too much information.

Oh Goodness! You do NOT suck! You have to feel good about your giving.

Religious Scientist

$50K

$1K

Plus about 10 hour a week in volunteer work. Does that count for anything?

Namaste! (and again - you don't suck!)

No tithing.
Old testament.

I won't tell you.
I give what I want.
Lately I don't give anything to the church but a token.

As long as they say tithe, I don't give.
No puuush I say.
You puuush, I puuush back.
The more you puuush, the less I give.

Get outta here!

I get by and I give generously (as far as I'm concerned).

You're a LOT richer than me and I give a higher proportion.

I'm an atheist. Gifts to churches don't count, you know.
