I really like this guy, but we don't really know each other very well. Should I ask him to prom or would it be weird? How should I ask him?

If you don't really know him, think about how awkward it would be at prom. Try talking to him more. Find out his interests and what kind of things you have in common.
Ask him to hang out. If you're not comfortable doing that then I don't think you should ask him out just yet. If you are, good for you :) If everything goes well and he shows some interest, then I say go for it! Good luck.

Maybe try and find out from a friend of his if he would want to go with you so it is not awkward at prom. this way he won't just say yes to be nice and then you guys both ahve a silent time. and once you ask him you could maybe spend some time together before prom and get to know him better to make things even less awkward but good luck hope you have fun at prom

i brought a guy i didn't really know well to the prom.. it did kinda start off weird, especially the ride there.. but by the end of the night we were having a great time and dated for almost 2 years after.... i say go for it... why not... good luck

whatever you do, do not ask him where either you or he will get embarrased. try calling him after school. If you wait to long it will be to late. Start by telling him that you know this is kinda weird cuz it's not usually the girl that does this but you just wanted to ask him a question. maybe you don't realize it but he's been watching you.

nicely prom isn't a relationship. that's barely a date, people can elect persons boyfriends yet ask him if he likes you (prom aside) and enable you realize which you won't experience mushy taking him if he has a woman. yet i think of you ought to take him:) terrific of success

i think you should just make some small talk with him one day, then a few days later ask him. i think you should right will you go to prom with me in that waxy stuff on his car windows. i saw them do somethin like that on an old season of laguna beach. or you could write it on a sheet of paper and tape it on his windsheild along with some balloons. or maybe write a note and put it on his locker?? or u could always just go straight up and ask him. GOOD LUCK!!!! if he is smart he will say yes!!!

I would try to play it off. Just casually mention that you still don't have a date and see if he bites. If he says something like..."yeah, I don't know who I'm gonna take yet either"...say jokingly.."yeah..well then maybe we should go together"..judging on what he says...you can laugh it off, and say "yeah right"..if he doesn't seem interested..OR..on the flip side you'll get your prom date. GL!
