Isaiah 40:3
“The voice of [John the Baptist] one crying in the wilderness: PREPARE the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway FOR OUR GOD.”

Matthew 3:3
“For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘PREPARE the way of the LORD;
Make His paths straight.’”

YES!

Jesus is God.

And the very moment you believe that with No Doubt in your heart, the Holy Spirit will enter into you, and you will be saved.
This is called baptism of the Holy Spirit, and what Jesus was talking about by being born again...not the traditional baptism of simply being dunked in water!

Don't believe me...test it out for yourself, You will find out....

What proved Jesus is God for me, is John 1:43-50.
I was pondering how in the world Jesus could say he saw this dude sitting under the tree, if the tree was half way across town? Then I said outloud, Jesus Is God!!! And BOOM, the Holy Spirit entered into me, and I found out what being Baptised is really all about.

(You see all the people on here who say Jesus is Not God? They are NOT saved!! Even though some these claim to be Christians...do not believe them! They are just Like I USED to BE! Do NOT belittle Jesus......Read John 1:1 and so you can better define it...The Word is AKA Jesus, and it clearly tells us Jesus is God)

And then read on a little further and ponder how in the world Jesus saw the dude under the tree....

Do not confuse:
"son" of "God" & "Son of God"
God's kid VS God Himself

2 totally different things, written this way to weed out the sheep & goats.
.....and that's how I was always mistaken.

Good Luck!

No.

Of course, Christians seem to like to make Isaiah's writtings to read however they want.

The problem comes from already believing in something, and then searching through the OT to find it. One already believes that Jesus is God - so one goes through and tries to find whatever verses, no matter how remotely, correspond to Jesus's life.

The supposed prophecy of the 30 pieces of silver illustrates this. This was never a prophecy, but instead record of a payment rendered. And silver was not the currency used in Jesus' time.

The OT should be taken as a whole. I have met Christians that take a verse here, or a verse there and say "This is about Jesus!" No - it is about the Jews. Read the whole thing. Not just the parts that support your faith.

And Isaiah 40:3 refers to a generic voice - and could actually be talking about the Jews in exile. This verse is used in the NT - but is that really what Isaiah was talking about? Read the whole section - as it was meant to be read, as one continuous part and you find that no, it wasn't.

No, Jesus is not God. Jesus was sent for as a representative of God. Jesus is the firstborn of ALL creation, he had a prehuman existence in heaven with his Father before anything else was created, Jesus came to be God's Master Worker and chief spokesperson, that is why Jesus is called the Word. All angels are called sons of the true God, Job 2:1, Jesus is God's firstborn Son, or Michael the archangel, the only creation God Jehovah created by himself, that is why Jesus is his only begotten Son, Jehovah alone is called the Creator.

Three does not equal One. The Bible repeatedly says that God is one, never that God is three.
Deut 6:4 Hear O Israel, the LORD your God, the LORD is one.

If you really want to search the truth go to

Yes He is. He is the eternal Word who was with the Father in the very beginning. He is the second divine Person of the Most Holy Trinity. He demonstrated that He was God throughout His whole earthly life by doing things only God could do. If He was not God, but merely a man, then His death could not have reconciled the human race to God.

No the Son of God " Father why have you forsaken me?" If he was God he wouldn't ask that. Also "My Father is Greater than I."
His word is non different than Gods because God spoke through Him. But their are some mistranslations in his words. And many changes made in the Bible by kind Constantine. If you would like the original words and teachings of Christ read The Gospel of the Nazirenes- for info google gospelofthenazirenes.c All will be clear when you read His original New Testament

Idealy yes, but he is also God's son...
It's a complicated matter called the trinity where there is
God the father
Jesus the Son
And the Holy Spirit
Same person, different representations.
What your doing is 1+1+1=3
What really happens is 1*1*1=1
Its really confusing and since God can do anything, this is no exception.

Yes, Jesus is God.

How awesome is that.

That the Almighty God stepped out of heaven, to save this dying world.

I (Jesus) and the Father are one. (John 10:30)

Most Christians believe that God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit are all God. I do not. God is God. Jesus is His Son.
