I recently purhcased a pomelo for the first time, and though I enjoyed the taste of the fruit, it was fibrous and pithy. Are they always like that? I don't usually find grapefruits/tangerines/lemons/limes to be like that. Just wondering?

They usually have a very thick, spongy pith and skin.

I have always found them to be much more juicy than a grapefruit, personally I think you got a bad one! So Sorry, I love them.
