Most "true Christians" would disown such a child and the hate them for existing. Isn't Christian love grand?

If any of my kids had been gay, that would end the notion that there was some gene causing it, since both their Dad and I are both heavily heterosexual, having inherited this tendency from our parents, who inherited it from theirs, who inherited it from theirs, who inherited...well, you see where I'm headed with this.
Happily, my kids are all grown, and have kids of their own. None of them have shown the slightest interest in being gay, nor for that matter, do the grandkids.
So, this is not something I will have to worry about.
Thank you, Jesus!!

Not at all. I love my son and would never be disappointed in him, nor would I think that I could run his life by asking him to remain alone because of any prejudices that I might have.

At one point I thought my daughter might be gay. I was completey at peace about it. I do know that being gay is a difficult life to lead, (look at all the hatred here!) but I would be happy to give her all the support in the world.

That would be the worst day of my life to find out something like that and would be deeply disappointed. About as disappointed as you would if you found out your child enlisted in the KKK or Hamas.

The words "give in" usually dont lead to anything good. I would prefer that they give their life to God and live his way so they can have the gift of eternal salvation through Jesus. But that is their call. If they want to live their life like the world and receive its penalty as well, I cant stop them.

Honestly I don't know. I could tell you right now that hey, I'd be totally okay with it . . . .

But I don't have kids now. I can't even presume how I'd feel in about . . . .15-20 years or so if my kids told me they were gay.

Honestly I would pray over them, and I would be saddened- because I know it is a sin in God's eyes and it is unnatural and I would just truly pray over them.
That is why I want to raise them to know the truth, because the thought of this world consuming them is frightening.

Yes. That is not going to happen. My daughter likes boys. I let her to live her own life and make her own decisions. I would love her.

not at all as long as they were happy with their life. I would want them to find a life partner and be happy. If they were happy to be alone and celebate that would be fine as long as they were happy.

I would be disappointed, heart broken and wonder where I failed them as a father. I would be very happy that they were celibate and still love them as a father. But, if they gave into their tendencies only the child would be allowed into my home.
