I always think it's a good idea to get a tattoo that 1, means something to you personally, 2 doesn't offfend anyone who will see it, and 3 you can picture yourself with it in 30 years. I like word tattoos, I don't know why. Maybe a quote you like, or a word that kind of stands out, like "strength" in bold letters for example.

Get something that means something to you. Like my dance teacher got this chinese simbal for dance on the foot that she turns on. Its also kind of fun to get one that has some secret special meaning that only you know. DO NOT get a tattoo of a boyfriend or girlfriends name because no matter how in love you think you are.... you are going to be devestated to have their name tatooed to you after you break up. Do your research on where are bad places for sagging and aging and where the most healthy places are to get a tattoo. This is kind of serious since it is going to be there for the rest of your life. So get something timeless that will still be appropriate for you when you are 58. That is the hard part of getting a tatoo. Good luck!! =)

YOU are the only person who can decide!! if you need to ask someone what tattoo to get, you shouldnt be getting one in the first place.

Thats something only you can answer. You shouldn't get a tattoo, because someone else says you should....don't forget that tattoo's are permanent....Make sure you are positive you are getting what you want, before you go get the ink done.....

If you have to ask people you dont know, then, none, at all. I love tattoos but it should be something that is meaningful to you. Not the highest voted suggestion on yahoo answers.

the only thing i can suggest is dont get something spur of the moment. always do alot of research and thinking before taking any actions. get something that will have a meaning to you, and even if it doesnt have a meaning then make sure its something you like and can imagine yourself liking for the rest of your life. i always told myself, im going to get a tat right after i turn 18, well it actually took me about 3-4 months after my birthday before i actually even figured out what i wanted. have fun with your search, do something original and i hope everything works out.

brainstorm p a tattoo thats meaningful to you. not asking a bunch of strangers on the internet!
think of somethign thats YOU or something you like. like family, freinds, favorite flower, ect..
