please help... the button can be any size standerd button can do

and it cant be a shortcut.. it has to be a program seperate... on the screen..

erm, why not use a shortcut? that's what they're designed for. :\

or go the full hog, be brave, and put a shortcut to excel in the quicklaunch bar which is always visible? :O

Should have an ICON available for that . Just right click on excel and select creat shortcut or you could get into programming by downloading Microsoft Visual Basic Express and studying the on line tutorial for creating buttons.

I'm not sure what you mean but you could put a shortcut on your screen. You can drag a program from the start menu onto the screen and it creates a shortcut. :) Hope this helps!

You can drag the excel icon to your Quick Launch bar at the bottom if you have Win 2000 or XP. Then instead of doing a double click, just one click in the Quick Launch.

just go into FILE and click CREATE A SHORTCUT.

on start menu, right-click excel, SEND TO / CREATE SHORTCUT.
