My grandmother needs to travel from India to US. She cannot speak English. I need somebody to assist her during the travel and talk to the immigrations officer for her and bring her out of the airport so I can pick her up outside.
Can the escort service do this. How much would this cost me.

Yes, there are several of these escort services that assist people with travel. They usually escort children on international flights, but most will also take the elderly. I don't know the prices, but I get the sense these are for rich children whose parents are too busy. It might be cheaper if you go to India to escort her yourself.

u do not need escort services for this. u are looking for a travel companion or assistant for your grandmother. which airlines are u planning to have her travel by? u could try explaining the situation to them & see if they can help out by seeing that someone in their staff helps out during immigration like they have for unaccompanied minors. am sure they would be the best guides.
the other option that u have is : these days a lot of people travel to the US from India, u could ask around & am sure some friend or friends friend who has people coming over could help out your grandmother. another option could be some travel agency or tour operator from India. its not that difficult so don't get stressed out about this.

You are looking at the WRONG service.
Talk to your local travel agent to find out which airline has the most Indians travelling on, she will be able to find someone willing to assist her on the way here, also airline staff is pretty good with assisting passengers.
As much as I hate travelling on Air India, the only thing they are good for is speaking the language, so try them out.

Holy Cow! You certainly don't want your grandma to get anywhwere near an "Escort Service". It is generally a cover for prostitution, where a beautiful "escort" gives company to "generous" men.
I suggest using the keywords "senior assistance service" instead. Good luck to you and your grandma.

Escort can do the above but embassy of US in India may NOT issue visa to escort. Escort may return of India. He may desire help of escort in US.
Both way air ticket + Rs. 50000/- can be approximate expenses for boarding, lodging etc.

The only thing I have ever heard about an escort service is that they are paid companions (like for dates). They have bad reputations. Check them out completely before you use one.
