Your best bet is to use a partition manager. There are a few free partition managers but they are not on par with the commercial counterparts. I suggest you try Symantec's Partition Magic or Acronis Partition Manager. They are fairly easy to use.

1. Symantec Partition Magic (http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/products/overview.jsp?pcid=sp&pvid=pm80)
2. Acronis Partition Manager (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/partitioning.html)

The free partition managers are harder to use and there is no technical support. In addition, they usually don't provide documentation (ie. no user's manual or help content).

Presumably you installed a new hdd because it was a bigger capacity.Assuming your old hdd is ok you can install that in your computer and transfer the data across before you make any changes.there will be a spare connector inside your computer,Look at the existing one if you are not sure what to connect to what. When you restart your computer windows will find the other drive.

on a mac, it really is. i in person-friendly words be conscious of the thanks to do it on leopard. you carry down the alternative key even as starting up, then flow to the mac hardpersistent. log in and such, then open boot camp setup software. there you are able to delete the undesirable partition and the empty area will be blended to the mac hardpersistent.
