It is so funny that I saw this question!
I have been with my boyfriend off and on for about 6 years. We just recently moved in together (in November) and until this weekend he hadn't done that either. He was one of those guys that said "I just don't do that". It isn't really that big of a deal to me, I can take it or leave it. But, on Saturday night, out of nowhere, he did it!
I think it is just a time thing. We are in a really good place together now, and it has just taken us a long time to get here. You can't force the issue, if he wants to do it, he will, you just have to let him do it in his own time. It will be better if you let him do it when he is ready and not because you are forcing him too!
