baptist pastors here in florida. the pope gets a small stipend and it ain't much. however, he also has no real needs for money.
for pope john paul 2's 25th anniversary, cardinals andpeople sent money from all over. he spent the money on renovating a chapel and also the JP2 cultural center in DC. money they receive is not their own.

The Pope is supposedly not allowed to own anything personally, so giving him that doubt I guess you would have to say the Baptist Pastor

The pope doesn't have any money or wealth, so it would have to be your local baptist pastor, since he has his hand out all the time, pretending to be poor.

I'm not Baptist but the Bishop have greater money due to the Church. My priest relies on donation and doesn't even get a salary at my parish.

The Bishop of Rome has NO salary nor personal wealth. He has all of his needs taken care of - his clothing and vestments are the property of the Church.

The Vadican may be worth a lot of money, but the Pope himself doesn't.

The Catholic church has land and buildings. It has art that has been donated and hung out of respect to the artist.
Protestant churches have land and many buildings also.
Why is it important? I'd say they both have a lot.

Most people with good values would say money is the least of what they treasure.
