Harvard doesn't give merit scholarships, at all. Only need-based ones. However, according to their website, "About 70% of Harvard students receive some form of financial aid-grants, loans and/or part-time work". The cost of attendance is about $46,000 per year

The total expenses usually hover around $30,000USD including all the tuition, residence, and living fees. Full scholarships mostly cover the tuition, but you still have to pay for the residence and living fees.
