Whats more powerful 7.2v Nihm or 7.2v Nicad battery?
I want my rc car to go faster and it runs on 7.2v batteries. Is there any way to use batteries that can make it go faster, or have more torque. Thanks

NiMH batteries store more power than Nicads so for a similar size battery and similar load the NiMH battery will last longer than a Nicad. You could use this power for more speed or torque by changing out the motor or changing the gear ratios but not by changing the battery type alone.

No, but that is a function of your car, not the battery. However, they do not develop the "memory" effect that NiCad batteries do. NiCad batteries tend to "remember" how much they are used and if you charge them before they are completely drained or charge them less than 100%, they will, over time, allow less of a charge. This makes them much less efficient than NimH batteries.

your car is limited to the 7.2v as that is what the motor is made to handle. - increasing the battery power (mah - Milli amperes) will make it last longer and nothing else.
