Yes, David, he does. If you believe in Him, and that his Son did for our sins, he desires to know more about you; That's kind of an odd saying, I know...but He really wants you to open your heart and mind to Him.
He accepts you as you are. Lay your sin and shame at His feet, for He has saved you from it. He bore the weight, shame, and death of the cross for each of us...including you.

No David, God doesn't like you. Those who like you stop liking you when you mock them or insult them. God loves you/ He loves you so much that He sent His Only Begotton Son, Jesus Christ to die for you. He didn't wait for you to mature, get straight or anything. God loves you right now. The question is do you love Him?
