I would caution you that the urine will gather with the residue that builds up. The chemicals are always in the 'S' trap and eventually the smell will create a problem. It is a fact that people would shun your home if they knew urine was going into the sink. Also, as you know, it is always prudent to brush clean the commode as one uses chemicals. If you can brush clean the pipes of the sink, this would give you a green light. Of course this is still a hygiene problem to the nth degree.

It will work to get the job done but I do not recommend it. No matter how well you clean, there may be splashes that you don't get cleaned up.

Also, You would know the truth even if you did not tell anyone and it's not worth the weight on your conscience.

You can use the toilet and not flush every time.
During a serious water shortage I remember reading a sign in a retreat bathroom stall that read;

"If it's Yellow, Let it mellow. If it's Brown, Flush it down."

Another one,
"If you sprinkle when you tinkle, be sweet and wipe the seat." OK, enough of bathroom wisdom.

God Bless You, ;-)

Yuck! Why would you use your sink as a urinal? To save water? Pee outside on a shrub!! Some people like to wash their face in the sink, not to mention the plumbing would start to reek of urine.Come to think of it, what if I wanted to pee in the sink? I`m female, how would I reach? Anyhow, that`s disgusting.

I would echo the concerns about it splashing. While it probably won't hurt you... that's icky.

What about the bath tub/shower, instead?

Additionally, sometimes urine stinks, so you'll still want to rinse a little... you will still save on water, though. A toilet flush uses a lot of water!

I'm sure urine isn't the worse thing that has gone down the sink.It certainly wouldn't hurt the pipes.But you might make sure it doesn't just sit in the pipes under the sink. IOh, I beleive 'grey water' is usually whats 'supposed' to go in there, bath, dish, clothes washer water, but I'm positive bathwater isn't the only thing that goes down the drain in the bath!

Duh..You'll have to use water to clean the sink. Flushing the toilet sounds quicker and easier to me.

I find it pretty nasty. What if it sprays and hits your tooth brush or something. I usually don't flush when I pee to save water.
