Siervocal took the words right out of my mouth. Americans should stop and realize that as human beings they are no better and have no superiority to any other human being, everybody needs to be treated like a human being and that shouldn't be based upon some papers. It takes a HEART and a BRAIN to tell me right from wrong, not a LAW or a CONTRADICTION of this country. When they have nowhere else to go and are in that need of a job they try to come to the land of opportunity just to get sent back, tortured, or treated like an animal. There are many illegals who do pay for taxes, welfare is out of the question because just asking for it would be asking for their own deportation. EVERYBODY IS A HUMAN BEING, EVERYBODY BLEEDS RED AND CRIES CLEAR, PAPERS OR NOT DON'T CHANGE IT. WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT THAT?

OK, I will answer your question directly. What you are talking about are not universal human rights, they are civil rights enjoyed by recognized members of a sovereign nation. These members have agreed together to afford those rights to other members. The group will accept new members and give them equal rights, however, the group can require certain things in exchange for the membership. First, the prospective members have to request membership. They have to openly identify themselves and declare they want to be identified with the group. Second, they must contribute to the group. They cannot expect to receive benefits and not give in return to the group, that is called a societal leech. Societal leeches do not have civil rights as a matter of law and policy because they do not wish to be full members of society, they only want the benefits. Many argue that they contribute by working, however, they are working to earn money to benefit themselves and not for the benefit of the nation. So that doesn't count.
Therefore, any privileges that are granted them are simply that, privileges. They are not rights.

These are all very valid points, and that's why it's important to come legally. Then there will be no abuse of immigrants or citizens. Everyone will be documented and accountable for their actions. We are not capable of accommodating all the people who would like to come here at one time, however, so it's important for people to wait until it's their turn.
Okay, consider this: We are losing our jobs and our ability to support our families. Citizens are also being abused and killed by these 'undocumented' people. They often can't get compensation or justice because the perpetrator can't be traced. So we are both in danger over a situation that should not have occurred.

1.Illegals can "defend themselves" in their OWN country, because they have NO RIGHTS in this one!!!
2. ILLEGALS should not even BE in THIS country!! So, if they are "afraid to come forward" when they witness a crime, then that is their OWN fault!! (Wouldn't that be SQUEALING on the other ILLEGALS since there are so MANY crimes being committed by ILLEGALS in this country??!!)
3.AGAIN, if an ILLEGAL is not paid a fair wage, whose fault is that??? the ILLEGALS!!! Because if they had WAITED and come here legally, then they could report these things without fear!!
4.IF an illegal "works & pays taxes", then they need to PAY for their OWN "medical treatments", instead of the cost getting PASSED ON to the taxpayers of this country!!! BTW, exactly WHICH taxes are you talking about??? Local sales tax ( which doesn't amount to much) or the THOUSANDS of dollars like the U. S. citizens have to pay in??
5. This country CAN NOT take in everyone that wants to come here!!!! There would be NOTHING left for the legal citizens of this country!!!
We CAN NOT take in massive amounts of UNEDUCATED, UNSKILLED people who can not support THEMSELVES, but rely on US to pick up the slack!!! And, yet that is what the ILLEGALS expect of us!!
NO WAY IN HELL are we going to sit by and let that happen!!!

Simply because one finds oneself in a bad situation of ones own making does not absolve one of the responsibility to oneself to right the situation by any legal means possible. This is the responsibility of every person no matter where they are, what nationality they happen to be. One cannot make others responsible for their own actions.

Its much more important for the illegal aliens to stay in their home country's . They are illegal in this nation and by law do not deserve any of the things you speak of. Why cant they make their own nation more accountable for its lack of humane treatment of its own people.? Why don't the country's that theses poor people come from help their own people have a livable life with out having to enter the USA via illegal means? Why is it the USAs responsibility and not their own countries ? To provide for its own poor people ?
Where is their country's accountability ?Why are they being forced out of their country's of birth ?
Are the answers only smart and well thought out only if they agree with your views ?
No one deserves to be abused, People deserve a right to have a life without fear,a life with out abuse from any source. They deserve to live a happy fruitful life. But one just cant come in and "take" that life. You have to make that life in such a way that you are lawful and respectful of the laws of the land. Yes its a long process but what gives one person the right to circumvent the laws while another wades thru the long legal process of becoming a legal citizen with all the full wonderful rights we enjoy in this great nation ?
Putting all legalities aside ..yes all people deserve a right to live a good life. I will agree with you on that gameover.

None of these things are important because most stupid working class americans would rather not have any undocumented workers unless they wake up and realize they would have to pay more for commoditites. Furthermore, those who are unable to defend themselves or stick up for themselves is how america became america. Americans killed the natives, enslaved black people, paid asians to work for practically nothing to build the railroads, and now are enslaving mexican migrant workers (not literally but pretty much as they get paid barely anything).
On the contrary it is important for wealthy Americans who don't have to worry about immigrants taking their jobs to have afraid undocumented workers because they don't have to be paid as much. Also they can't unionize and as any good republican knows, unionizing is the enemy. Many American's do not want immigrants to defend themselves and sure as heck don't want those picking vegetables to sit down at dinner and share those vegetables with them. Kind of makes that song Proud to be an American shameful for those of us who grew up thinking our country was a just and honorable country. Apparently it is not.
lol. to all those who are crying about paying taxes to the group. Many Mexican illegals pay taxes on fake social security cards and do not recieve anything in return. Furthermore, last time I checked, California, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico was Mexico. Just cause we beat them in a war doesn't mean we can get rid of them. It's like, what came first the chicken or the egg.
Also, because no one likes George Bush, wouldn't it be nice if someone was to....not kill you sinical people......deport him back to his place in the third reich.

Um, I think I know where you are going but your examples aren't the best. We think illegal immigrants shouldn't be here taking the jobs to begin with, much less getting health care or anything to get back on the job sooner. Poor people don't even make enough to pay enough taxes to cover their children's education much less any other benefits. That is why we limit poor immigrants to begin with. The tax argument is irrelevant.
I don't want anyone abused, but I don't think we should look the other way to someone breaking the law because someone else is doing it too. They both should be dealt with.

I agree. It's just taking jobs away from everyone else. LEGAL people. Those illegals should be concentrating on improving their own country. It's a lofty goal, but achievable if they work hard.
