To much of a GOOD thing can be a BAD thing...lay off the protein drinks. they now say that water is better for you than gaterade. gaterade can make you jittery from something in it. Anyway's back to training your six pack abs...my brother did it when he joined the service, this is how he did it in 3 months, he did sets of sit-ups first do not put hands behind your head, your neck could pull a muscle easily, 1st cross for arms in front of you like indian style not touching your chest, then counting to 5 in your head as you slowly pull yourself up, thats 1, then back down slowly so you don't injure your back. Doing the same again the second time but this time don't go all the way up, only half way up then hold yourself there for the count of three seconds letting yourself back down again. Then do a full, half, full, half, etc...you get the picture now. My brother did this for three months and had good solid 6 pack ab's, I wanted to do the same, but I was to lazy...good luck.

i dont take any supplements and have a reall strong six pack...
i do muscle workout 5 days a week...and every time i go into the gym i do at least 3 different sit-up exercises...2 sets of lower back exercises...and 2 oblique exercises...
1 also run with my dogs about 2 days a week for approx 4-5 miles...
dotn just stick to 1 kind of stomach exercise...make sure you mix it up...and try to do stuf which will take care of the upper, middle, and lower portions of your abdominals...

Doing both sit-ups with added weight, leg lifts, and a host of other exercises that will work other muscles along with your abs, also lower bakc is very important to the abs. Running distances works very well also.

weighted crunches, weighted side crunches, rope pulley crunches and any other weight bearing resistant core training will make your abs pop out like any other muscle group. Use light dumbbells and those heavy miniballs. Also, make sure you squeeze, control and hold your abs tight while you work out. 20 tough, slow crunches beat 50 fast sloppy crunches without form. good luck
