YOU'RE chances of winning are doubled. That doesn't mean anything when your chances of winning are still 1 in a billion.

well if there are a million tickets, and you have one its a 1 in a million chance, if you buy 2 its a 2 in a million chance.. So not very much

It all depends how many total tickets there are that would increase your odds at a different rate.

Buying two tickets will double your chances, but that doesn't necessarily mean they get much better.
If there are 10 tickets and 1 will win, then buying two makes your chances go from 10% to 20%, a pretty big jump.
But if there are a million tickets and 1 will win, then your chances double from .0001% to .0002%. So they doubled, but they are still very very low

Your chances don't get much better, but whether you buy 1million tickets or just one, if you're meant to win the lotto, you're going to win!!! if you're not, you won't! sorry! ...pray!
